Monograph with a new species named after Prince Charles received over 50K hits within a month

In today's Zootaxa, KJELL ARNE JOHANSON (Sweden) & JÁNOS OLÁH (Hungary)
described 24 new species of Fijian Chimarra (Trichoptera, Philopotamidae)  in a 58-page open access paper:

Toad rediscovered 135 years after its 'extinction'

A recent paper in Zootaxa reported on a  Sri Lankan Kandyan dwarf toad (Adenomus kandianus) thought to be extinct:

Eigenfactor ranks journals based on their overall importance, not just average citations in the current year to papers of preceeding two years (i.e. impact factor).
